UPDATE: Some users who have made changes to existing projects containing unreferenced photos (photos that were unable to be uploaded due to the below issue) are still unable to sync those projects regardless of the device they are using. This issue is unique to users who have edited a project that was created by another user on a different device. If a single project contains an unreferenced photo and changes have been made to it, no sync occurs. In addition, it prevents all later projects opened and edited from syncing.
What is the solution?
Update to Measure Mobile 4.0.7 available on the Apple App, Google Play and Microsoft Store.
Are there any remaining side effects with existing projects?
- Upon syncing a project that contains unreferenced photos, an error message will still appear stating that the photos could not be uploaded. In this case, the error message is meaningless, since the photos did not originate from that device anyway and could not be obtained.
- If you wish to associate the original photos with the project, have the user who initially created the project open it and make a small edit, then sync. This should upload the unreferenced photos associated with the project so that they can be available on other devices.

UPDATE: This issue was resolved at 6 PM CT, February 27 by deploying a fix to our cloud service.
Please note that in some cases, the rotation of photos may be incorrect when viewed after syncing the project and photos. We are working to address this issue today, February 28.
What about projects that uploaded previously, but the photos did not?
Please open these projects on the original iOS device where they were created and perform a small edit to the project. Then, return to the projects screen and sync. This should cause the photos to be uploaded and attached to the project in the cloud. The project can then be opened and edited on other devices, such as Windows and Android without issue.
Earlier post at 10:30 AM CT, February 27, 2019:
We have discovered that iOS users of Measure Mobile (iPhone and iPad) are receiving error messages when attempting to upload projects containing photos. This issue is limited to iOS users who have updated to the latest iOS version, 12.1.4. The error message appears as below:
When this error message is received, the project containing the photos is safely uploaded to the cloud, however, the photos are not always uploaded to the cloud. In all cases, the photos are safely kept on the device within the project.
In addition, if this same project is later opened using Measure Mobile on a Windows or Android device and edits are made to the project, the subsequent sync process never completes.
We are actively investigating this issue and will post updates to this article as more information can be provided. We will deploy a fix as soon as possible.
