Roll Labels in Cut Plan

I've wondered for years why Measure doesn't have roll "Labels" or "Names" at the bottom of each Roll in Seam tab. I don't feel like it is user friendly near enough when it comes to the Cut Window and identifying which rolls are which after creating User Defined rolls. If you create 2, 3 or even 4 rolls and move cuts back and forth on them its hard to keep track of.

If the rolls were Labeled or Named this could help immensely. Especially when handing a Cut Sheet to the installer's. The size of the roll would be essential as well.

I made a mock-up picture.....Just a thought

    Mark,

I totally get what you're asking for:  a simpler. quicker way of seeing roll length in the cut window.  Do me a favor...   send this to measuresupport@rfms.com and CC me and say you posted it in the Community and that Jacob asked that it get escalated to the development team and I'll run under it.

  • The Cut Plan in Reports has this info.  It gives several options for printing the roll cuts.

  • This information is along the bottom of my screen when the cut estimate box is open....

  • Right. Im looking for it to be under each roll in the cut window.

That would make it significantly easier to identify each roll and length when moving the cuts from roll to roll.

Measure already has the information. Id like the team to expand on where it can be seen at.
