Merge with transitions touching

We are trained to measure within the room - from wall to wall then add a transition in order to add the additional space at the door thresholds. When we are needing to join the rooms at the transition, we are not able to join them that way, instead we either have to insert points and extend the room 3" or add an additional room 3" the width of the door and join all 3 rooms.

This can be done using the "Product Extends Through" function. First set up how much distance you want the flooring to extend by going to the Estimating section within Measure Options. Then, when you add a transition, make sure the checkbox is checked. Screenshots attached.
Yes correct, we are currently doing that when figuring the room as one drop, alone. There are times where we want to join two rooms at the doorways and it doesn't allow us to join at the transition, accounting for the extra 3". We have to add a separate room and then join the now 3 rooms, to account for the threshold.
