Show edge material on stacks or walls in Elevation Plan

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I create stacks or walls on a room, and add a miscellaneous item to it, even if it has a defined color. It shows up on the takeoff view.
When I CTRL+P to print an elevation view, it shows in the legend, but not on the drawing. This is where I need the product to show. Is this possible?
