For stairways I would like to assign products for the tread and riser separately.

    Well, currently you would have to create each step individually as a room so that you can assign a Stairnose on the Edge.....

    A quick way to do that is to use the Append Stairway tool under the 3D tap. However, doing it this way will only show a flat room in 3D if that is important to you. 

    You can create a product and assign it to the Edge similar to the way you do covebase.

    You can set the length of the Product when you create it.

    I would really like to see this addressed in future builds
