Stacks Tool - Harden the code so that it does not auto-create products

If I create a stack, then edit any aspect of a product that's use in the stack (like the drop, or product/color name, etc. - Changes that often come via addendum), the stack does not inherit the change, but rather re-creates the old version of the product upon further interaction with the stack.
That behavior makes it extremely difficult to manage my product list and produce correct quantities. Please either eliminate that behavior or at least give me the option to allow or disallow and re-select materials.

This is a tricky one. I've got it scheduled for a discussion with our programmers about how best to address it.
