One Key Hotkeys

I’d like to request the addition of an option to enable single-key hotkeys, without requiring CTRL or Shift modifiers.

Currently, having to hold a modifier key while pressing another key slows down workflow. More importantly, it becomes uncomfortable during extended use. Since this program is used for hours at a time, constantly holding a modifier key—especially with the pinky—can lead to noticeable hand strain and feels awkward.

An optional setting for single-key shortcuts would make tool selection faster and significantly improve overall usability, particularly for power users who rely on speed and efficiency.

I understand this may seem like a minor request, but I would encourage trying to hold the CTRL key continuously for an extended period while working—it quickly becomes clear how fatiguing it is.
