Steps default number for treads and risers.

We desperately need the ability to change the default for tread and riser.  they are set at 7" for the riser and 9" for the tread.  I do not believe 9" would meet code anywhere in the us. it does not seem to add a waste factor. I get that we need to review but I could avoid that step with a proper default.
