blueprint disappearing v17.2 Build 4794

working on blueprint and then the image disappears but the rooms stay there, if you were not done there is now way to complete the drawing. This is repeatable and has happened to multiple estimators on our team.

also if you import three pages to the same tab. House prints only the last page appears even though it shows all three pages on the side if you click the pages it only highlights a blank space where the blue print should be.

  • Had this happen to me as well. Shouldn't have to do this work-around, but what I did was used an online program to compress the PDF and then imported new compressed PDF's and it resolves the issue for me. It seems like measure is having an issue when the blueprint contains the layers. If compressed file doesn't do the trick, I have also opened the original PDF and then file-->print--> select microsoft print to pdf and save that way. Hope this helps until RFMS resolves the issue.

  • That worked for me temporarily, but it would eventually repeat and fail to print the blueprint even though it was showing on the screen. After copy/paste or duplicating tab, the issue would return to seeing the outline of the PDF but not the PDF itself. The issue has never returned after compressing/reprinting the PDF, however.

  • This has been occurring a lot to me. Also running into an issue where I am unable to save  any work after a certain point. All data has to be lost because it will not let me save as a new file.

  • We have unistalled 4794 and went back to version 4752. We have lost too many hours re-doing prints. Got no response on ticket, other than to report it in the community like I have done with this post.
