Inserting Points & Selecting Rooms Bug

I’m not sure if this is a setting issue or a bug, but I’m running into two problems:

  1. Point Insertion Issue:
When inserting a point on a room, I move to the side where I want to place it. However, if another room is adjacent, the selection occasionally shifts to that room instead, causing the point to be inserted in the wrong room.

  2. Small Room Selection Issue:
When selecting smaller rooms, the software sometimes doesn’t register the click at all. I have to select the room from the room list instead. This wasn’t an issue before, so it seems like something has changed.

  • I've noticed the same with issue 1. Its very frustrating and annoying. That definitely needs to change back.

  • The current Insert Point command is problematic when dealing with rooms that are close or overlapping. Giving the user the option of using the older version (must select the room before one can use the Insert Point command) or current Insert Point command (select Insert Point command first and then what ever room your cursor is over or nearest too is selected) would be helpful.

  • Agree with all of above.  I'm learning to deal with this new feature, but I preferred the old way of having the room selected in order to use the tool (like all of the other tools).  I use the insert point a lot to miter corners or things like that so my rooms are overlapping and it adds more time to have to work around this feature.  I like it sometimes if cutting doors in but it would be nice if like either this could be optional or suppressible.
