Create walls on one or more sides of a room that can be displayed in 3D.
The Add Side tool is found under the 3D tab of the Ribbon Bar. It will not be available for use until one or more room sides are selected.
This tool will create wall flaps only on selected room sides. To add flaps to all walls within a room, or to add them to multiple rooms at once, use the Create Walls tool.
How To:
- Select at least one side of a room by left-clicking a handle (). Multiple sides may be selected by holding down the Ctrl key and left-clicking additional handles.
- Click on the Add Side button.
- In the "Create Edge" window that appears, define the parameters for the new wall flap(s) and then click the OK button.

Click this button to open the Product Selector and choose a material for the wall flap. Only products sold by a square unit of measure will be available.
A length for the wall flap(s) must be entered here.
Enter an optional thickness for the wall flap(s). This setting only affects the way the flap is rendered in the 3D viewer and does not affect material calculation. Valid range: 0" - 2'0"
Radio buttons used to select a fold direction for the wall flap(s). Fold direction is always applied relative to the room the flap is being attached to.
Slider used to specify a direction for the material assigned to the flap(s). Left-click and drag it to change the setting.
Tip:
If you're unable to dial in the exact angle you need, left-click the slider and use the left and right arrow keys to adjust it in one degree increments.
If a tile product is in use, select one of the options in this section to choose a start location for it. This setting operates relative to the Lay Alignment.

Measure's default tile start method. This will reflect the standard way tile is installed in the majority of cases. - Corner
Start tile in the corner of the each wall flap, based on Lay Alignment. - Center Tile (Bottom)
Start tile in the center of the bottom row. - Center Tile (Top)
Start tile in the center of the top row. - Center Grout
Place a grout line in the center of each wall flap as a start point.
Click this button to open the Product Selector and choose a material for either the top or bottom edge of the wall flap. If a tile product is selected, then a single row of tile will be allocated along the edge.

If this box is left unchecked, the edge product will be applied at the bottom of the wall flap. Check this box to apply it to the top instead.
