The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT bar) is a customizable space where shortcuts to various tools and features can be assigned for easy access. By default, it is located above the ribbon bar.
Activate an item on the QAT bar by left-clicking it, or press the Alt key to display keyboard shortcuts for each item.

The Quick Access Toolbar can be customizer can be accessed by clicking the down arrow next to the QAT. Click on an item to add/remove it to the QAT. A checkmark next to the item indicates that it is added.
The bar can be moved by clicking the button next to it and selecting "Show below the ribbon" or "Show above the ribbon".
Tip: Tools assigned to the QAT bar do not change when switching Ribbon Bar tabs. Reduce the time you spend searching for tools among the various tabs by combining the ones you use most frequently on the QAT bar. |
